KINGS1995

O Level

Typically ages 14–16

O Level at KINGS is taught as a sequence, not a single crowded year. Students know which stage they are in, what that stage is for, and what has to be true before they move on.

O1

Introduction

Students meet the language of the syllabus, the standard of written work, and the habits of a two-year course.

  • Subject skills mapped against the syllabus
  • Short assessments that show how to improve, not only a score
  • A timetable that still leaves room for clubs and sport

O2

Main course

The heart of the programme. Full subject teaching, past-paper familiarity, and steady coursework habits.

  • Live teaching across the chosen subjects
  • Scheduled practice in exam-style questions
  • Counselling on subject load if a student is stretched

O3

Examination year

Revision, timing, and calm preparation. Teachers narrow the focus to what still needs work.

  • Planned revision blocks rather than last-minute cramming
  • Timed papers with feedback a student can use
  • Guidance on exam entries and the days around the papers
A student writing notes by hand

Subjects

  • English Language
  • Mathematics
  • Biology, Chemistry, Physics
  • Computer Science
  • Business
  • Additional subjects by cohort

How the week works

  • O1, O2, and O3 are stages, not separate schools
  • A student can join at the stage that matches their record
  • Families receive a plain update each term
