KINGS1995

iLower Secondary

Typically ages 11–14

iLower Secondary is where KINGS begins for younger students. Lessons are live, groups stay small enough for a teacher to know who is following, and the two levels move from confidence to independence.

Level 6

Foundations

The first stage. Students settle into live online school, learn the routines of class, and strengthen English, mathematics, and science.

  • Short, focused live lessons with a clear start and end
  • Study skills: how to organise work, ask a question, and finish a task
  • Regular feedback so families can see progress early

Level 7

Bridge

The second stage. Subject work deepens and students practise the kind of thinking they will need for O Level or IGCSE.

  • Longer written responses and simple investigations
  • A guided choice toward O Level or IGCSE
  • A placement conversation before the next pathway

How the week works

  • Live lessons on a published timetable
  • Independent practice between classes
  • A tutor who watches the week, not only the mark
